How we time without chips.
Cameras at the start, split and finish read the bib. Every runner gets their time, start to finish.
From start to result
Step 1
Start.
A camera at the start gate reads the bib number as the runner passes. That’s where the runner’s time begins.
Step 2
Split.
If the race has a split, a camera reads the bib there too. Today we offer one split per race.
Step 3
Finish.
The camera at the finish gate reads the bib again. That’s where the time stops.
Step 4
Results.
Times show live during the race. Afterwards we check the results and correct errors before you get the final results.
If a bib can’t be seen
What the runner can do: wear the bib on the front, visible and unfolded.
A runner missing their time can contact us via our support page. We look for the time and correct the result using the routine agreed with you.
Backup
There are always at least two of us on site, so there is a backup.
What the images are for
The cameras read the bib number so the time goes to the right runner.
