Common questions
What organisers usually ask us. Can’t find the answer? Book a call.
Before the race
Do runners need a chip?
No. We read the number on the bib. Wear it on the front, visible and unfolded.
How fast do we get the bibs?
We print them within five working days of your approved proof. They normally reach you within seven working days of the order.
How late can we add names to the bibs?
No later than seven working days before the bibs are delivered.
When do you need the start list?
We need the final start list no later than the day before the race.
Can we keep our registration system?
Yes. We import the start list from your system. If you want to switch, we can also handle registration and payment for you.
What do we need to arrange ourselves?
Power, tables, chairs and a sheltered space at the start and finish. A clear path through the start and finish. One contact person on site. You also arrange permits and road closures.
Can we have splits?
Yes, one split today. If you want more, we make a separate quote. You need one marshal at each split to keep an eye on the equipment.
Race day
How many of you come?
At least two people, so there is always a backup. With a split we are three.
Is there a backup?
There are always at least two of us on site, so no part of the timing depends on one person.
Who is responsible for the equipment at the split?
You are. Put a marshal at each split who makes sure the equipment isn’t moved or lost. If something is lost or damaged because it wasn’t watched, we may charge the cost of replacing it.
Can runners sign up on race day?
We agree on that before the race. We need the final start list the day before.
Money
What does it cost?
From SEK 6.90 per runner, excl. VAT. Start gate, split and travel are set out in the quote. Larger organisers get their own quote.
Do we pay for registered or starting runners?
It’s in the quote. Smaller and mid-sized races normally pay per registered runner. Larger events can pay per starting runner, based on the start log.
Is there a minimum charge?
No. There is no minimum charge for timing.
When do we pay?
Half is invoiced 30 days before the race. The rest is invoiced 15 days after. Payment terms are 30 days net. Printing and shipping may be invoiced in advance.
What if we have to move the race?
If you move to a new date within twelve months there is no extra cost, as long as we are free that day.
What if we cancel?
If you cancel after the bibs are ordered, you pay for the printing and shipping already incurred. If the race is cancelled due to force majeure, nothing is added beyond printing already ordered and costs already incurred.
What does it cost to time it yourselves?
SEK 5,900 per race. The timing system is included, and we’re on site at your first race.
Results
When are results available?
Preliminary results show live during the race. Afterwards we check them and send the final results.
How are errors in the results corrected?
We check the results after the race and correct errors using a routine we agree with you. Runners missing their time contact us via our support page.
Which files do we get?
The final results in Excel and CSV, ready for your website, social media and sponsors.
Where are the results published?
Online, on the race’s results page. We publish according to your instructions. Runners find their time under Find your time.
Can runners get a diploma?
Yes. A digital diploma link is available as an add-on.
Images and GDPR
Who is the data controller?
You, the organiser. We process the data on your behalf, as a processor.
Do we get a data processing agreement?
Yes. We sign a data processing agreement with you.
What data do you process?
Name, club, class, bib number and time. We use them to run the race and publish the results.
What are the images used for?
The cameras read the bib number so the time goes to the right runner.
